Colloquy alias Conversation!
Anyone would think about why to watch our conversation? Ok ok don't take it so literally I am just asking you to keep an eye on what you speak and how to present your ideas in a group or in a one-to-one conversation. Cause the way you present your words makes a lot of impact in your career or personal life. In this blog, I am going to share a story of mine and show you guys How changing the words you use can change your Mind!
In the last blog(Lap of luxury commence through mind ). I told you about the positive attitude one must keep for their luminous forthcoming life and if you haven't read my Blog do give a visit from the link above.  So, How can we transform ourselves into a positive Beast? So here is the answer " Use Positive vocabulary ".

In this world people can be broadly classified into three genres:

  1. Pessimists
  2. Mediocre
  3. Optimists
And the world's top 1 percent are Optimists, another 15-20% Mediocre, 30% Pessimists and others left are chameleons They just can't think in a single direction. When things go right for them they are Optimists when things don't get according to their plan they are the most negative person you can ever meet!

Then, How can one become so-called an "OPTIMIST"?
So there are a few sets of a word one can use while conversing with someone.

  • Terrific!
  • Fantastic!
  • Great!
  • Excellent!
  • Super!
  • It doesn't get any better!
  • Mind-Boggling!
  • Breathtaking!
  • Wondrous!

So in my high school days, I was the most Pessimistic guy you can ever meet always using words that were not pleasing like when someone asked me "Hey How is your day going?" I replied without any pause "That was such a horrible day today!".So I just started absorbing all the negative in my surroundings and never felt good (though it never affected me academically). But now I have stopped using the words which my mind doesn't want to hear. And yes it has changed me as an individual a lot.

Self-pitty is an Acid that eats holes in happiness!
                                                                           - Earl Nightingale
Never ever complain to anyone like " I am not feeling well!", " I have a terrible sinus headache!" , "I had this green stuff oozing out of me ......" etc. Cause no one wants to hear your sufferings. If you want people to hear you and want to influence your coworkers or friends. I would suggest never use negative words cause
"Ninety percent of the people you meet don't care about your troubles. The other 10 percent are glad you have them."
And I am quoting these amazing lines from Attitude is EVERYTHING "The people who don't complain very much are a joy to be around. Decide to join that group -so people won't have to cross the street when they see you coming".

Netflix vs Blockbuster

Netflix vs Blockbuster In the 1990s, Blockbuster was the king of the DVD renting market. It was the launch of Netflix which ended up the company in Bankruptcy. Between the launch of Netflix and Blockbuster Declaring Bankruptcy, there was a war, which went on for years.  Quality x Price Blockbuster as we know was the king of the DVD-renting market.  They were a market leader and a billion-dollar company. The hefty late fees charged by the company were a pain point for Millions of Americans. Around 16 per cent of Blockbuster's Revenue came from Late fees.  Like many other Americans, the founder of Netflix was annoyed by Blockbuster's late fee model. He with his friend started Netflix in 1997 as a DVD in-mail service. They ended up building a subscription-based business model and that too without the late fees making it more affordable to the customer. Quality x Quality By 2004, it had a revenue of 500 Million dollars. The Unique Selling Proposition of Netflix was deli...
In this brief blog post, I want to share my experience of transforming from someone who had never read a single novel, not even the compulsory ones from school, to someone who reads extensively. Although I have not read an enormous number of books, I am proud of the progress I have made. I began my reading journey during my college years to stand out from the crowd through knowledge rather than material possessions. Let me get straight to the point - I began my reading journey with the book "Five point someone" by Chetan Bhagat, which kickstarted my interest in reading. I subsequently read "Wings of Fire", "The subtle art of not giving a fuck", and other books that led me into a journey of voracious reading. Although I have read more than 20 books, I have tried to read 35-40 books in total. I've learned that if a book doesn't pique my interest, it's not my fault, and I just need to keep trying different books until I find one that engages me. J...

Privilege:BOON or BANE?

“What separates privilege from entitlement is gratitude.” ―  Brené Brown We all are born with a little or more privilege than others. Sometimes it might be in the form of Health, Money or sometimes you just get everything perfect in your life(these kids can focus on something more important) That's when you notice most of the "Rich kids" opt for different sectors like vlogging blogging getting into Theatres, etc. And many of the "Middle-class kids" try to get a job or practice as doctors or engineers in the future. I am in no way Booming Rich and saying poor and middle class can't do anything in their life. We have many examples amongst us those who were poor but wrote their own destiny with a golden Pen. But some of their Success is relative to where or when they were born. I would like you to play a small game throw a party at your place and invite a few friends (let's say 4). You invite 4 friends of yours and ask each of them to pay you 50 bucks. Ra...
